Good art elevates us. It awakens our souls.
A piece of art has unique power to lift the human spirit, delivering beauty, hope, meaning, and passion to those who live and work in its midst. At Anne Irwin Fine Art, our goal is to connect each of our clients with art that inspires them. To that end, we are unwaveringly committed to providing the best in both customer service and in quality, maintaining close and positive relationships with our clients and artists alike.
Anne Irwin Fine Art was founded in 1985 by artist Anne Irwin. Over twenty five years later, the Miami Circle gallery is one of the Southeast’s most highly regarded destinations for collecting fine art, representing over 40 emerging and mid-career contemporary artists from all over the U.S. Our work spans a variety of genres and mediums, enabling us to meet the needs of a diverse clientele, but is held together by our artists’ shared competence and commitment to work that is visually stimulating and uplifting. Our clients appreciate our warm, un-intimidating environment, our regular, Friday night exhibitions, and an ever-rotating inventory that allows collectors to view new work and stay on top of trends in the market. It is our goal to ensure that collectors, designers, and consultants alike consider our professionalism, client care, and devotion to our trade unmatched.
We look forward to connecting you with just the right piece of art. Click here to tell us how we can help you get started.
Anne Irwin, Gallery Owner
A life-long artist, Anne Irwin launched Anne Irwin Fine Art with a small handful of artists who she represented out of her home. Connecting clients with beautiful artwork, however, is a lifelong passion–as a child and later as a student, Anne sold creations ranging from handcrafted jewelry to graphic design. Over nearly 30 years in the art business, Anne has worked to create a stable of uniquely talented artists and a judiciously-edited inventory. More importantly, Anne’s commitmentto caring for and developing her clients and artists has earned her a reputation for being approachable, knowledgable, and trustworthy.
Anne is passionately committed to a variety of community endeavors that improve people’s lives. She is a founder and board member of A Hundred Shares, an organization that helps groups of women pool money to create spectacular gifts for deserving charities.
Emily West, Gallery Director
A key player in the Atlanta arts scene, Emily took on the directorship of Anne Irwin Fine Art in January of 2013. Emily came to the AIFA from her own highly-respected business, Emily Amy Gallery, which operated on Atlanta’s eclectic Westside from 2007-2012. Emily is well versed in both art history and the fine arts by means of her education in the United States and abroad at institutions including Vanderbilt, Harvard, and the University of Georgia. After completing her Master’s degree in 20th century American Art at the UGA, Emily accepted a job at one of Atlanta’s longest-standing galleries and quickly became one of the youngest gallery directors in Atlanta. Emily is passionate about the local arts scene as well as contemporary art on a national and international level.
Emily is married to Alex West, one of the co-founder’s of Wonderroot, a non-profit community arts center in East Atlanta, whose mission is to unite artists and community to inspire positive social change.
