Our Creative Crush this month is the wildly talented Donna Walker! If there is a through line in Donna's work, it would be the warmth she finds in the ordinary. There is quiet in the wide open, character in the weathered, and real joy in the simple shape of a house on a hill. Her work is, to put it simply, welcoming. Building thick, textural fields of color with a palette knife, she turns a farmhouse into a memory, a stretch of pasture into pure atmosphere, and a row of rooftops into a neighborhood you're certain you've driven through before.
